هدفي مساعدة الطالب على ايجاد وتطوير شخصيته الخاصة وصوته كمؤلف، تشجيعه على أن يكون استباقي وأن يشارك في مناقشات بناءة وحاسمة حول التأليف الموسيقي وبالتالي الاقتراب من أهدافه خطوة بخطوة

تشمل الحصة مناقشة مؤلفات الطالب ومساعدته على تطوير افكاره الموسيقية، او مساعدته على بدء او اكمال قطعة موسيقية، بالاضافة الى مناقشة نظريات التاليف الموسيقي واساليبه الكلاسيكية والحديثة. كما نتطرق ضمن الحصص الى اصول التدوين الموسيقي، ونغطي كل ما تحتاجه لتتمكن من الكتابة للاوركسترا الكلاسيكية، من اساليب التوزيع الاوركسترالي ووظائف المجموعات، الى الالوان الموسيقيى والقوالب الاوركسترالية، بالاضافة الى علم الآلات الموسيقية الغربية المستعملة في الاوركسترا، حيث نتناول كل آلة على حدى وندرس خصائصها وكيفية الكتابة لها، كما وظائفها في موسيقى الحجرة والاوركسترا، بالاضافة الى استماع امثال صوتية وتحليل أمثال مكتوبة

Through composition lessons, I help you realize your ideals in music. As we discover where your passion for musical composition lies, I guide you on your creative journey by asking questions, analyzing your compositions, and when necessary, diving deep into the work of great composers

My goal is to help the student find and develop his or her own personality and voice as a composer, encouraging him/her to be proactive and to engage in constructive and critical discussions about musical composition and thus approach his/her goals step by step

The class includes discussing the student’s compositions and helping him develop his musical ideas, or helping him to start or complete a piece of music, in addition to discussing theories of musical composition and its classical and modern methods.

We will also discuss within the lessons the basics of musical notation, and cover everything you need to be able to write for a classical orchestra, from orchestral arrangement techniques and instruments’ families functions to musical colors and orchestral styles, in addition to instrumentations, where we discuss each instrument separately and study its characteristics, and how to write for it, as well as its functions in chamber music and orchestra, in addition to listening to audio excerpt and analyzing written examples.

Finally, you will be able to finish a professional piece of music ready for performance or recording, and we can assist you in the later production stages by introducing you to a network of professional musicians who are able to perform your music professionally
