Founded in 2018, Orchestra El Moukhyam is a continuous project that offers a peaceful place for kids and teenagers living in the Bourg El Shemaly Palestinian camp in Tyre – Lebanon, free instruments and free music classes, and that organize the participants in a large orchestra where they can express themselves through music and discover the different musical cultures of the world, especially Palestinian and Lebanese Folk. And through music and Orchestra routine, we teach the little musicians many values as group work, listening to each other, acceptance, respect, discipline, and art appreciation.
Since 2018 the orchestra has worked with more than 300 kids and teenagers, from both genders, and has presented more than 20 concerts in Lebanon and online.
