Beirut Contemporary Ensemble

Beirut Contemporary ensemble is a group of Lebanese professional musicians, founded by the Lebanese composer Wajdi Abou Diab in order to present a new style of contemporary Arabic music and expand the repertoire of new music by Arabic contemporary music composers.
The instrumentation of the group is flexible, and we invite regularly more musicians passionate about contemporary music, in order to be able to perform any chamber music piece presented to the group.
The group premiered and recorded many contemporary pieces by Lebanese composers, and is always enjoying working with living composers and supporting the youth generation of contemporary music composers.
