About the peace

Dance of time is a chamber music for 2 winds instruments (flute and clarinet in Bb), 2 strings instruments (viola and cello), and one percussion instrument (vibraphone).
Based on an Arabic rhythm (أوساط عربي: Measure of 13 beats divided into sub measures: 4(F-f-f-f)-3(F-f-f)-2(F-f)-4(F-f-F-f)), and two series of Orientals scales (حجاز و راست).

In this composition we go back in time to the old Arabic performance techniques specially the “zanne”, the simple bass, melodic phrases and other elements.
